Nanolia PowerCoat PRO

Nanolia PowerCoat PRO is a clear coating based upon chemical nanotechnology. It has been developed as a functional coating for industrial purposes with the emphasis on protection against corrosion. When force-dried at a temperature of 160°C the surface forms an extremely hard protective coating.

Surfaces protected in this way are very easy to clean and are resistant against acid and alkali intrusion and show a high resistance to solvents. The coating is stable in ultra-violet rays and therefore perfect for outdoor use.

Suitable for use on aluminium, magnesium, copper, brass, steel, ceramics, glass and all mineral or mineral based surfaces.

Properties:

•        No previous preparation or chroming required when used on aluminium

Application:

Always test a small sample to ensure that the desired result is achieved before proceeding with the main project. If in doubt, do not proceed.

May be applied by all the usual methods (rolling, painting, spraying, dipping/immersion). The surface to be treated must be clean and free from any dirt and fats/oils. We recommend that Nanolia- Graffiti  remover is used for this purpose. For the preparation of aluminium and magnesium surfaces an alkali cleaner is the best method. Specifics of the application process will vary depending upon the surface to be coated. We are happy to advise you fully in these cases.

Consumption:

Depending upon the surface to be treated, a result of about 50 - 60 m² may be achieved with 1 kg.

Availability:

1 litre bottle, 5 litre canister, 25 litre canister. Other packing forms/sizes are possible after prior consultation with us and according to the transport possibilities/regulations.

Storage:

The product may be stored for at least 12 months in its original packing. Protect from frost and direct sunlight.

Disposal (German regulations):

Empty containers as well as any remaining product must be disposed of according to the local laws and regulations or it must be taken to the community collection point for such materials.
